What desserts do you like from you home land

Canada > Butter Tarts, Pecan Pie, Beaver Tails (long donuts covered in cinamon sugar), Maple Walnut Ice Cream, Rhubarb crumble pie etc etc!

Indonesia --> es dawet, kolak, es kacang ijo

Sicily, Italy>>> Panettone, it is a cake-like bread. It is very popular this time of year.

I am from Trinidad & Tobago some of our
indigenous desserts that I like are. Sweet bread,
kurma, guava cheese, pineapple or coconut sugar
cakes, coconut ice cream, coconut roll and lemon bun.

I am from India, but for some strange reason, my taste buds do not agree with most of the sweets and desserts laden with ghee, sugar, jaggery and butter we make in my native South India.
My love is for Sri-khand, a Gujrati/Rajasthani sweet. It is hung curd blended with powdered sugar and cardamom, and it has the most satisfying taste.

my parents are from Haiti,
so i like peanuts with honey. i do not really know how to spell it though

Cantonese warm sweet soup - steamed Asian pear, ginko nuts in a clear broth. Moon cakes.

Fresh fruit all grown in sunny Andalucia southern Spain.

i do not know whether they are from my homeland (UK) but my favourite deserts are:

Banoffee Pie, Pecan Pie, Sticky Toffe Pudding and Cheesecake - the best cheesecake I ever had was from Antigua, Guatemala.

I know i know.. my puddings are all super rich, but if your gona have a pudding you may aswell have a proper sweet indulgent one!!
