What are some good,easy desserts for Family dinners

Instant Custard with stewed apples are quick and easy.

if you like sultanas and chopped walnuts
to contrast the soft, creamy with a bit of crunch

sprinkle with cinnamon and spice - deeleesh!

This is so easy & good & everyone love it.
Get a bag of frozen mixed berries & a bag of frozen peaches,defrost in frig for one hour.Put them in a 13 by 9 pan, butter or grease the bottom.I use a disposable foil pan for easy clean up.Sprinkle a box of dry yellow cake mix on top of the fruit.Melt one stick of butter & drizzle on top of the cake mix.Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes or until starting to brown & bubbly.Cool for 5 minutes & top with ice cream or whipped cream.Enjoy.

a simple chocolate or vanilla cake is always good. home made always is better the store bought boxed stuff.

mousse its light and can be just the right little thing needed after a big meal. stores can carry packages in the dessert aisle that can help u with this.

Chocolate Cake Dessert

1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 jar Smuckers caramel ice cream topping
1 8 oz. Cool Whip
3-4 Heath bars, crushed

Prepare & bake cake according to package directions, using a 2 x 9 x 13 pan. Remove from oven & poke cake with the end of a wooden spoon. Pour condensed milk & caramel topping over cake. Spread with Cool Whip, sprinkle with candy, & refrigerate.


Dump Cake

1 can pie filling (any flavor)
1 box Jiffy yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

Pour pie filling into greased pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over filling. Pour melted butter over cake mix. Top with nuts if desired.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until top is golden. Top with ice cream or Cool Whip.

Hint: If u do not have a Jiffy mix, u can use 1/2 of a regular cake mix. Spice cake is good with apple pie filling.

Serves 6.


Pumpkin Mousse

1 large can pumpkin pie filling
2 small packages sugar-free vanilla pudding & pie filling (instant)
1 regular size Cool Whip Lite

Sprinkle pudding mix over pie filling & stir. Then fold in Cool Whip. Chill.

Serves 8.
