What are must have dishes and desserts for Thanksgiving

Deep fried Turkey with mashed potatoes&gravy on the side. Then for dessert, Banana Creme or Pecan Pie

Pumpkin pie,and candied yams we have every year. I am thinking of doing green bean casserole this year also.

Dessert? Pumpkin Pie, of course! But we also have mince (or, as my son called it when he first began to read, ''mice'' pie!) & apple pie.

Side dishes -- first priority is stuffing made to taste like Granny's. Granny had no recipe, so it is a crapshoot if the stuffing will taste as good as hers -- tho' I think I have it figured out!

I always have lots of black olives for my niece is husband, who loves them as much as I do!

The hideous green bean casserole. Everybody loves that!

I've done Thanksgiving Dinner at my house for the past 30 years. I love doing it! Everyone is welcome! This year, we r going to have to set up 4 tables for the folks! I love it!!! Thanksgiving is MY day!

I would have to say mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. YUM! :)

Baked Mac n cheese and sweet potato pie

Call me crazy but mashed taters (with sour cream instead of milk) and gravy is my favorite. Pecan pie is also our favorite dessert.
